Caribbean week of Agriculture (9th - 15th October 2011)

The Tenth Caribbean Week of Agriculture is being hosted in the Commonwealth of Dominica from October 9th to 15th under the theme:

"Caribbean Food and Nutrition Security in a Changing Climate - The Nature Island Experience."

The Caribbean Week of Agriculture provides a forum for all stakeholders to interact and dialogue on issues geared towards improving the sector and make it more competitive in the face of the current challenges, facing the region.

The Government and people of Dominica have engaged in extensive preparations to ensure that our visitors to the Nature Island of the Caribbean enjoy our warm hospitality, cultural heritage and eco-friendly environment.

This website is designed to provide information which is relevant to participation in this year’s CWA.
The CWA secretariat is located at Goodwill Road in Roseau, Dominica and is being headed by Edward Registe along with a competent staff including

Transportation services are being handled by Reyno tours who are also offering several exciting excursions to many of Dominica's exotic eco destinations throughout the week.

The CWA is being hosted during the month long celebrations of Dominica's 33rd anniversary of independence which will afford our visitors the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of the island.

The official opening ceremony of the 10th CWA will feature several cultural performances as well as a parade of nations.

Security and health services have been fully mobilized to respond to any eventuality during the week of activities.
